SundayMorning.—YoucannotsurelymeantodegradetheJoanofArcintoapotgirl.Youarenotgoing，Ihope，toannextothatmostsplendidornamentofSoutheyspoemallthiscockandabullstoryofJoanthepublicansdaughterofNeufchatel，withthelamentableepisodeofawaggoner，hiswife，andsixchildren;thetexturewillbemostlamentablydisproportionate.Thefirstfortyorfiftylinesoftheseaddendaare，nodoubt，intheirway，admirable，too;butmanywouldprefertheJoanofSouthey.
